Greeks Logisticians voted the first supply chain benchmarks
The first live voting at Logistics Conference held on October 21 in Athens by the Supply Chain Institute at the event «Supply Chain Benchmarking». More than 150 executives from major Supply Chain industry, retailers and 3rd Party Logistics companies of the country, had the first floor and voted answering 75 questions drawn up by scientific collaboration Planning and consultancy relating to indicators measuring the performance of Logistics (indicators of cost, quality, productivity, etc.).

The first live voting at Logistics Conference held on October 21 in Athens by the Supply Chain Institute at the event «Supply Chain Benchmarking». More than 150 executives from major Supply Chain industry, retailers and 3rd Party Logistics companies of the country, had the first floor and voted answering 75 questions drawn up by scientific collaboration Planning and consultancy relating to indicators measuring the performance of Logistics (indicators of cost, quality, productivity, etc.).Through their answers, came the first benchmarking data (supply chain benchmarking data) specifically for Greece, which is now available to all sessions to diagnose whether the level of functionality, cost and performance of the Supply Chain business is high, medium or low compared to the market average. At the same time, it pointed out the difference that separates the business from the best performers (Best-In-Class) and the reasons for this difference. The concept of benchmarking and the use of Supply Chain explained Mrs. Marilena Arghrou, Managing Director of Supply Chain Institute, while Mr. Stamatis Andrianopoulos, executive consultant with Planning presented in his introductory speech types and benefits of benchmarking methodology as namely supply chain benchmarking examples from Western Europe and the USA.
